Little Dixie Regional Libraries is a two-county library system serving Randolph and Monroe counties in Missouri. We have the main branch (Moberly)  and three (3) branches located in HuntsvilleMadison and Paris.

 

        Little Dixie Regional Libraries exists primarily to meet the informational and recreational needs of all residents within it's service area. The role of the library is to provide access to and actively promote public awareness and usage of materials and services to meet the needs, as well as to preserve the cultural and intellectual heritage of the service area.

Discover Missouri Railroad History (Moberly Library) Join us for a special historical event! Marty Paten, the founder of the Boone County Historical Investigation Services, as he discusses local railroad history. He will be talking about his new book, “The Columbia Branch Railroad” as well as signing copies. All are welcome as he talks about the Brown’s Station Depot murder, the Hallsville Bank Robbery, whether Frank and Jesse James ever robbed a Columbia branch train, and some pretty popular stories about hobos in the area. Open to all and refreshments will be served.
